Jarritos, a Soft Drink Like no Other

Did you know that over 60 years ago, Jarrito’s was introduced as Mexico’s first national soft drink?

This was one cool fact that I was not aware of as a matter of fact, I had never heard of the soft drink until recently. When presented with the opportunity to try the beverage, I assumed that I would be trying yet another carbonated drink filled with the ever so controversial high fructose corn syrup.

But I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised, first because they are so tasty and second because they are actually made from actual sugar cane (YUMMY!).

Created in 1950 by Don Francisco “El Güero” Hill, Jarritos has become a leading brand in the Mexican soft drink category here in the United States. Made with fruit flavors and are less carbonated than most of the popular drinks in the U.S, Jarritos offers 11 naturally flavored fruit flavors which includes: Mandarin, Fruit Punch, Lime, Mango, Strawberry, Pineapple, Guava, Jamaica, Lima-Limon, Tamarind and Grapefruit (Toronja)

Available in throughout the U.S. in major and independent grocery stores and as their slogan states, a soft drink like no other, I definitely recommend you giving it a try.

Also, don’t forget to become a citizen of Jarritos Nation and enter at a chance to win $10,000 in prizes.  Click here for more info
